RED NOSE RANCH CHRISTMAS WAGON RIDES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:  WHEN ARE RED NOSE RANCH CHRISTMAS WAGON RIDES & CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES OPEN?  

A:  We are open November 18th - December 30th.  Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 5:30-9:00pm.  We will not be open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Q:  WHAT PULLS THE WAGONS?  

A:  Regular general admission tickets are pulled by a Motorized Trolley Wagon.  We also have private Horse Drawn Wagon Rides available. Please CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS & PRICING 

Q:  HOW LONG IS THE WAGON RIDE?  

A:  The wagon ride with a colorful narration of the original story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is approximately 28 minutes long.  However with check-in, waiting for your wagon to depart, etc. we recommend that you plan on 45min to one hour for the entire experience.  We also have a fun and festive barn and common area full of Christmas fun for you to enjoy.  This includes a petting zoo,  concessions, goodies, hot cocoa, fire pits, games, attractions and more.  We also have some fresh cut Christmas trees here from a local farmer - so get your fresh cut Christmas tree from us while you're here!  We want you to enjoy your entire experience with us!

Q:  WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT & UNIQUE

A:  We are not intended to be just another Utah "Christmas Lights" or "Christmas Light Show".  We are different in that we offer an entertaining wagon ride featuring a wonderful audio narration of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with music and sound effects, accompanied by lights and scenes and natural woods and atmosphere.  The experience is festive, fun and memorable all together.  What especially sets us apart from other Utah Christmas activities is our use of horses.  Candy Cane Riders and other characters are horseback and interact with guests on the wagon.  You will witness beautiful horses and skillful horsemanship as part of this Christmas Activity. 

Q:  IS IT FUN FOR ALL AGES?

A:  This is a Christmas activity that is intended for all to enjoy.  It is definitely geared toward children and families, but is festive and enjoyable for young and old alike.  The event includes a wagon ride through the woods while listening to an audio narration of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer being played throughout your ride.  There are different lights, sceneries and props along the way.  Candy Cane Riders and other characters on Horseback also make appearances along the wagon path.  This is a unique Utah Christmas activity that families with young children will enjoy as well as teenagers, college age students and grandparents. 

Q:  HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Q:  WHERE IS RED NOSE RANCH CHRISTMAS WAGON RIDES & FUN LOCATED?

A:  This fun Christmas Activity for families is located in Payson, UT just off I-15 on the west side of the freeway.  Look for all of the white horse fencing!  Here is the address:  4728 W 12240 S, Payson, UT 84651

Q:  WHAT SHOULD WE BRING AND WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

A:  We recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather conditions.  This includes considering temperature, rain and snow.  It can be cold at night this time of year!  You are also welcome to bring a blankets to use on the wagon ride (we encourage that you bring blankets and bundle up your little ones!).  Please, no flash photography.

Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT ON A WAGON?

A: Our trolley wagons seat approximately 28 people. If you have more than 28 people in your group, please do not expect to all fit on 1 wagon. Children 3 and under that can sit on adult's laps do not count toward your overall group size. 

Q: CAN A GROUP OR CORPORATE GROUP RESERVE A PRIVATE WAGON OR HAVE A COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTY? 

A: Yes.  Private wagons can be reserved for groups, corporate groups, for a company Christmas party, etc.  Private wagons are available through our booking system.  However, if you would like to discuss planning something special or custom for your group, please feel free to shoot us an email and we'd be happy to explore options with you.   

Q:  HOW DO WE CONTACT YOU?

A:  All reservations and tickets sales are done exclusively online. Simply make your reservation online, follow the instructions, and arrive at the time of your wagon ride. We have tried to make our website as informative as possible, providing all relevant information. We are frequently out in the field and DO NOT have an office with set office hours or a phone.
